Oliver’s Taranga The Hunt For Mrs Oliver Late Disgorged Sparkling Fiano 2017

The Fiano grape is certainly versatile. Lets its inner citrus complexity fly with extended time on yeast lees. The autolysis has added some real interest, even oomph, with aromas of lemon biscuit, grapefruit, quince, peach, hazelnut nuttines and fine cardamon spice. Comes with plenty of bubbly, toasty, citrussy flavour and depth delivered with the briskest of acidity. Brings an extra dimension to the southern Italian grape variety and it’s one that will surprise quite a few – yes, it’s that good.
