The first in a veritable triumvirate of fast-paced, modern Aussie rosés from the Fourth Wave people, No. 1 arrives bone dry and dressed in eye-catching salmon-coral pink hues. Sourced from the Fleurieu Peninsula, Grenache and Cinsault grapes bring a mix of firm tannin structure and earthiness to the rosé picture with an added touch of savouriness, not to mention fruit. Cherry, red berries, musk-marzipan confection notes and spice are the backbone to this fresh, fruit forward refresher. The wine speaks to its varieties, bright and perky. It also brings a full body of flavour and mouthfeel on the palate nicely undercut by a clean, cherry-pip dry tannin pop!
