Passing Clouds Loddon Shiraz 2023

The first thing that strikes you here is the colour, deep black-red hues, almost opaque. Then the nose, wow, there’s a lot happening. Dark chocolatey fruit, ripe plummy black fruits, and a fine lift of cedar. The palate delivers oodles of deeply concentrated yet velvety-smooth fruit that builds through the middle and extends almost effortlessly to a very long finish. A little liquorice and a dry, savoury finish complete an impressive young wine.
