Well, from the first take on the nose, you get a pretty strong indication that this Cabernet is from Margaret River. It’s from a season that was early and short with the lower volumes resulting in intense and powerful fruit concentration. Blackcurrant and dark spicy plum on the nose with layers of bay leaf, black olive and oyster shell minerality. Powerful concentrated palate with excellent use of oak to support the structure supplied by a thread of firm fine tannins. One of the best I have tasted from Peccavi.
