Penfolds Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Share

Bin 707 takes much of the best South Australian Cabernet Sauvignon fruit available to the Penfolds team. In this vintage McLaren Vale was the winner, with fruit also taken from Coonawarra, Barossa Valley and Padthaway. It has created a big, broad shouldered Cabernet Sauvignon with delicious purity and sweetness of blackcurrant fruits offset by a juicy green herbal lift. It is followed by quite a dense palate with rich and ripe fruit matched up to sweet American oak before a long and strong finish underscored by chewy tannins. It’s bold, hearty cellar ready style with plenty to offer over the next two decades.
