Pettavel Single Vineyard Shiraz 2023

An elegant and stylish example of a cooler climate Shiraz from the Yarra Valley. It’s medium-bodied, but there is excellent fruit intensity here, with dominant red berries, spices, and a little plummy blackberry character. It all weaves in perfectly on the palate, with subtle understated oak and those chalky, limestone-y tannins providing a structural thread. It’s a wine ideal for drinking in the short to medium term.
