Pike & Joyce Descente Lenswood Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Share

The Adelaide Hills make some quite beautiful Sauvignon Blancs, and this is certainly one of them from what turned out to be a very good year in the Lenswood region. It captures a lot of what you expect from Sauvignon Blanc with some nice gooseberry and tropical fruit notes immediately on the nose, leading easily into a palate that is not over-the-top with those pungent characters and delivers with a degree of restraint. It has a crisp, fine acidity, a little tropical citrus combination, and a fine lingering finish. An ideal wine for drinking in the short term.
