This is a thoroughly delightful expression of this famous Tuscan variety. Medium-bodied, it reveals lovely spicy cherry characters on the nose, while lifted florals provide an engaging and attractive opening. A decent dusting of dried herbs adds another layer of complexity. The palate displays vibrant cherry and red fruit flavours with a subtle savoury edge. It is a wine that absolutely screams out for pasta or lightly flavoured meat dishes.
