Throughout South Australia the ’21 vintage was outstanding. In Clare, it was as good as it gets. The long cool ripening period allows the flavours to ripen without haste creating depth and intensity in the typical medium body. Aromas of blackcurrant and dark chocolate with a leafy subtle black olive nuance. The palate packs in plenty with great intensity and concentration yet is presented with effortless ease and poise. Grainy tannins and balanced oak support, with a gentle cuddle and caress through to the very long finish. Classic.
