Provenance Henty Riesling 2025

Delicate and pithy on opening, with sweet lime, lime skin, green apple, lemon oil and lemon pith leading, and wet stone elements in the background. Sliced kaffir lime leaf enters with air. The palate is high-toned and similarly citrus-led — finger lime, lemon juice and lemon rind at the fore alongside green apple skin — before a pithy phenolic edge and citrusy acidity drive through a finish of medium length. Fresh and straight-laced. Intensity is a minor quibble, but at $30 it hits the right notes for a bright glass in the sunshine.
