The Planta Circa 2023 Shiraz is quite seductive and a very different take on the classic style with its fine and ethereal aromas of cherry compote, Middle Eastern spices, and violets with a mixed berry lift. A fine core of red and black licorice flavours blend seamlessly with coriander seed and toasted cumin, all well composed. Streamlined in texture with a gentle kick of grip before a long, seamless finish. Exceptional for the vintage.
