Reschke Bull Trader Cabernet Merlot 2021

This was an outstanding season in Coonawarra, and it’s reflected in this thoroughly delightful Cabernet Merlot blend. The colour is quite deep and dark, but with a vibrancy evident. It’s a combination of ripe blackcurrant and blackberry with a little fleshy pluminess filling out the middle palate. It’s generous, soft and supple with fine, slightly chalky tannins, and just a lick of cedary oak adding a degree of complexity. A most complete wine that offers excellent drinking over the next few years.
