Richard Hamilton Les Collines Pinot Gris 2024

Share

This is definitively Pinot Gris in style, with a subtly oily texture and ripe flavour while still maintaining freshness. Aromas of ripe pear, nectarine and Meyer lemon kick things off before quince paste, red apple and kumquat. There’s a lick of ginger and preserved lemon bitterness beneath, too. The palate holds a mirror to the nose with nice fruit weight and roundness while still holding shape thanks to some good structure through the finish, both phenolic and acidic, driving the wine to medium length. A lovely expression at $26.
