A best barrel selection of Tim and son Nick Knappstein’s Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir picks across several vineyards, multiple clones kept separate through the winemaking including barrel maturation, a portion around 25% new oak in play with the most suited batches. There’s a faint show of this in some charry notes, though darker cherry aromatics and flavours reign supreme over a background of bushland florals. Varietally bang-on, generous and fulfilling.
