Risky Business Margaret River/Frankland River Shiraz Tempranillo Grenache 2023

European wine purists would have a fit looking at this wine. Their loss. Not only is it a rather uncommon blend of Shiraz, Tempranillo and Grenache, it hails from two regions – Margaret River and Frankland River. But this is exactly the sort of thing our local winemakers do so well. A deep crimson/purple colour, the nose exhibits notes of strawberries and raspberries, warm earth, dried herbs and bay leaves. This is finely balanced, of medium length, offering silky tannins and a gentle lingering finish. Enjoy over the next five to seven years.
