The influence of the Blewitt Springs fruit sourcing in McLaren Vale is quite profound with this cracking good grenache. Not the round and opulent traditional style of McLaren vale, but more in the angular, savoury and slightly dusty zone which has a special appeal. Has a brilliant vibrant colour with lifted perfumes of red fruit. The old vine fruit is superb and hence the decision to use only older oak. Brilliant and bright.
