Russell & Suitor Cazadora Tasmanian Pinot Noir 2022

Share

Older French oak in use here. The colour is pale crimson and there are appealing notes of spices, red fruits and cherries plus a gentle hint of oak lurking in the background. The wine is gentle and already suggesting the complexity which seems certain to evolve. There is good focus, as there is across the entire range with plenty of very fine tannins contributing to the structure. The finish exhibits a little sappiness and there is good length here. An attractive Tassie Pinot which should appeal for at least the next three to six years.
