Schubert Estate The Golden Goose Late Harvest Viognier 2021

Share

First rule of thumb – don’t over chill. Second rule, this little sweetie is good to go right now. In keeping with its name, boasts bright, light golden hues. The scent of tangerine, peach, mango and almond cream rises from the glass. There’s a real confection quality to the sweetness, a boiled lolly kind that then gives rise to attractive Viognier fruits – both dried and cut-fresh – in peach, tangerine, apricot, citrus and orange rind.  A bright tang lifts the dessert style with balanced acidity all the way through. 375ml.
