It’s apparently summer right now in Melbourne, but I think this Chenin would be good at almost any time of year. A pronounced nose reveals delightful notes of lemon, sea spray, wax, blossom and nectarine as soon as you open the bottle. The palate is velvety and salty, with tangy, minerally edges and a lovely brightness of fruit. It’s probably no surprise that the Chenin would be great with seafood, but cheese, chicken and light pasta dishes would also be enhanced by it.
