Sevenhill Brother Joannes Schreiner Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

Share

Elegant and restrained aromas of dusty cedar, blackcurrant, and mulberry kick things off, followed by bay leaf, red currant, raspberry leaf, milk chocolate, tilled earth and dried violet. The palate has a cool and lithe feel with no expense to intensity. Mulberry, cedar, raspberry coulis, bay leaf, dried herbs and milk chocolate glide high through the mouth before a sheath of fine, grainy tannins which anchor it all and provide a frame to long length. Some mocha and mulberry notes linger in the mouth perfume. This is a classy release, showing finesse and elegance belying its two years of age.
