Sevenhill Quarry Road Cabernet Malbec 2021

The 2021 vintage was an excellent one in Clare, and this medium-bodied blend is stylish and elegantly proportioned. The nose is typically black-fruited with blackcurrant and a touch of red-fruited spice. The palate shows good fruit intensity with more red fruit evident, supported by fine chalky tannins and light oak. It rolls effortlessly across the palate before gathering to an extended finish. Bright, poised and thoroughly delightful.
