Sevenhill Thatch and Clay Touriga 2020

This traditional Portuguese port variety is used increasingly to make marvelously easy drinking, approachable red wines. And this one is a cracking good wine for drinking over the next few years. For me, the key is to drink while it is still so alive and vibrant with primary red fruit characters. Raspberry and slightly juby aromas with a bright lively high fidelity palate. The slightly chalky thread of tannins sets it off nicely.
