Singlefile Tempranillo 2023

Share

West Aussie Temp is not the most common of wines, but that does not mean it isn’t a delicious one. 60% of the wine went into single use French barriques for seven months, the remainder in two-year-old barriques for the same time. A vibrant maroon/purple hue. Spices, cherries, smoked meats, undergrowth, red berries, mulberries and plums. A silky palate, the flavours tend more to upfront rather than running deep and it does fade away a touch too early to be elite. That said, it is simply delicious drinking and at this price, excellent value, with plenty of tannins. Enjoy now and for the next three to four years.
