Small Victories Pinot Gris 2021

A damn classy pedigree of family winemaking talent going on right here. Lots of varietal expression in this wine too. Delicate aromas – nectarine alongside lemon pith, elderflower and orange blossom. The palate begins intimately but builds with texture across the tongue with those lifted stone fruits mellowing out the refreshing acid drive. Definitely in the gris spectrum when it comes to mouth feel and framework with some leesy goodness against the slightly underripe stone fruits. Super drinking here and I think it’s about time for some battered fish & chips on the beach or in the park (for 5 people!).
