Sorby Adams Ptolemy Pinot Noir 2024

Share

Given Adams’ love of robust, high-octane Barossa reds, I was mildly surprised to see this medium-bodied Pinot Noir from Eden Valley. But he’s chosen a good year to make something special from this variety. The typical red fruit aromas and florals are captured, while the silky-smooth, medium-weight palate delivers with fine tannins, chalky acidity, and a tight coil of oak holding its linear line. Drinking well now, and good in the short to medium term.
