Villero Cru from Castiglione Falletto needs no introduction for wine lovers, it’s been the source for Giacosa’s and Vietti’s flagship wines and a longstanding staple for Sordo. Lush cherry, crunchy cranberry and pomegranate, followed by vibrant rose, violet, dried herbs and hay. Seamless flow on the palate, plenty of round, chalky tannins intertwined with dark fleshy fruit and mouth-watering acidity. Long and delicious!
