Savoury and aromatic. This wine reminds me of laying bricks with my father as a child. Red brick dust, strawberry wine, clove, pink peppercorn, and a single dried cranberry. It has all the Nebbiolo charm and cleverness you’d expect. I enjoyed the tango between tart, lush, and mineral. That, and the salivating response. The tannins are fine and chalky, but in abundance. It’s structured, lifted, and just plush enough. Drink with fatty salami.
