Always exciting to see flagship wines which have been given some time in the cellar before release. This cracking Margaret River Cabernet has a deep maroon hue. The nose reveals notes of wood smoke, dried herbs, blackberries, charcuterie, cloves and aniseed. Good oak integration. It is supple and balanced, while exhibiting fine acidity and impressive length. A juicy style which sees the emergence of tobacco leaf notes and chocolate on the palate. Enjoy this over the next ten to fifteen years.
