Beautifully poised, it’s a real treat to see a cabernet sauvignon given some precious TLC.
Dark purple, so intense. A fine balance of fruit, oak and tannins on display here giving the cabernet fruit enough space to express itself but also be enhanced, which is how it should be.
Blackcurrant, black berries, nutmeg, cinnamon, dried herbs with a touch of smoked almond among the earth and tobacco leaf on the palate.
Retains a thoughtful Cabernet personality throughout.
