Stella Bella Margaret River Shiraz 2023

Share

If a wine can be described as perky, this Shiraz fits the bill. Red fruits shine on the bouquet in plum, black cherry, loganberry and cassis with star anise, baking spices, earth and briar. It’s all there in a lovely display of bright, fresh – and perky – Margaret River Shiraz on the palate, finely structured and just a little restrained as a two-year-old. It’s got further ageing on its mind with tannins sinewy, earthy and still firm. There is less of the usual peppery spice but with time expect a fuller expression.
