Stonehaven Stepping Stone Pinot Noir 2020

Share

You don’t see much Pinot Noir coming out of the Limestone Coast but it is not a bad region for the variety thanks to its limestone based soils and cooler climate which are well suited to soft, supple, early drinking wines. Bright cherry red in colour, there are fruit of the forest aromas with a dusting of herbs and spice but this wine is all about the upfront fruit. It’s then supple and silky in the mouth within a light weight package. Drink young with vegetable spring rolls.
