Taylors Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

The first thing you get with this Clare and Coonawarra blend of Cabernet is the distinctive minty, peppermint aroma that is a regional character from both areas. As it breathes though, the initial peppermint gives way to deeper and darker aromas of blackcurrant and a little dark chocolate. The palate is firmly held with sinewy tannins and a decent hit of oak. This needs a little time to start hitting its best.
