Taylors Jarraman Grenache 2018

Share

In the biggest change to hit the Jarraman range for years Taylors have launched a Grenache. But it’s not just any Grenache – it is a mix of fruit from McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley. And after tasting it I reckon they have got some fairly serious old vine vineyards in on the act as it is a classy first release.

It is classic open knit, ready for business Grenache and immediately appealing with generous dark and red fruits plus a touch of spice and baked earth. In the mouth it is full-bodied, but not heavy, with concentrated fleshy fruit and silky tannins plus a lingering finish. Taylors fans will be pleased.
