The Lane Provenance Pinot Noir 2022

Share

Another 2022 red from The Lane, another attractive bright purple colour. Quietly complex Pinot, restrained, waiting for a little more time in bottle to fully reveal. The aromas show the wine is set for a complex future in earth, autumnal leafiness, cranberry, black cherry with rosehip. Opens a little easier on the palate, juicy even, in bright red fruits with a touch of earthy, root vegetable savouriness. A densely-packed young Pinot with a great acid presence, long and even, firm in tannins with a cranberry/sour cherry finish. A wine of some promise, built for the longer term.
