The Lane Vineyard Pinot Gris 2023

Share

Style-wise, The Lane 2023 Gris sits on the cusp between Grigio and Gris. Combines the two vinous personalities – Grigio’s green apple, lemony crunch and crispness with Gris-like pear and spice. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats and was followed by time in oak.  It contributes some discreet and attractive textural properties to the wine which is noted for its youthful acid drive. Super fresh to taste with good depth of fruit in Nashi pear, apple, lemon and a whisper of spring-like honeysuckle and clean spice. While on the crisper side for a Gris, it can actually open up more food matching possibilities especially when it comes to seafood.
