Thunderstone Pinot Noir 2024

Share

Right from the outset, there is a varietal purity of Pinot Noir that strikes on the nose. It’s a light to medium-bodied wine and yet there is immense power. The aromas of raspberry and cherry with some brambly forest floor nuances are most appealing. Once the palate kicks in it really starts to move into gear. It’s still quite tight, and yet you can see the fruit qualities that are held within. Impeccably balanced and poised, this is a Pinot that says, “Yeah, sure, drink me now, but I reckon wait 10 or 12 years, and you’re going to have something pretty special.”
