Twinwoods Optivus Margaret River Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Again, for me, the 2018 is the slightly superior wine between the two vintages. A cracking wine. Similar winemaking to the earlier year. Under cork. Near black in colour, the nose exhibits black olives, dried herbs, vegemite notes, coffee beans, dark chocolate, cloves, soy, miso and dark chocolate. Still very young, the wine is intense with deftly handled oak and really good focus. Juicy acidity runs the length with silky tannins towards the finish. There is real length here which is seriously impressive so feel free to enjoy this wine for the next two decades.
