Tucked away in the heart of Provence is Villa Rassade, this is a blend of 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. It opens with musk melon, white strawberries and cantaloupe. A hint of tangerine citrus and white pear flesh. An elegant almond milk creaminess sets off the affability of this wine, making it ideal for drinking alone or with whole cooked trout in its skin. A dry finish with twinkles of cherry sorbet, this is drinking well now.
