Mighty good wine for this price. In fact, it’s better than that. Clearly the vintage has influenced this wine because it was a cracker in Margaret River. But the mature gravelly vineyards of the Steven’s Valley also contribute. It shows as a bright and lively red berry character supported by fine chalky tannins and well-managed oak integration. Balanced and poised in its more medium bodied style, this is perfectly suited for drinking over the next few years. Strike up the barbie.
