This variety is quite well-suited to the Eden Valley, which is slightly cooler than the Barossa floor. Aromas of stone fruit with a little nectarine dominance, and then a palate which is rich and textured with a slightly gingery grapefruit edge to complement. There’s a subtle hint of honeycomb that adds a further layer of complexity. Most appealing wine.
