Yangarra Roussanne 2023

Share

Matured in French oak puncheons for 8 months and lees stirred monthly. White peach, winter melon and pomelo segments. Lime cordial, grated ginger and bamboo shoot earthiness. The wine opens with fruit and continues with that vein before revealing its core of savoury nut butter, cashew and hints of sugarcane stem. Lees stirring brings a thread of interlocked lace and grip. It’s well balanced and maintains its moderate acidity right through to the end. A wine that could showcase white meats, to hearty fish stews and creamy dishes. It’s a wine that would pull together a pot luck meal nicely.
