Alkoomi Shiraz 2023

A deep garnet/red hue, the nose offers spicy notes with plums, chocolate, aniseed, black cherries, coffee grinds and subtle hints of blueberry pie. The palate moves more to black fruit characters. There is an attractive and lingering finish with soft tannins, as well as excellent oak integration. The wine has balance and there is a pleasing elegance here. Enjoy this over the next eight to ten years.
