Allegiance The Matron Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2025

From an elevated vineyard in the Tumbarumba region, fermentation takes place with the influence of French oak staves, followed by a month of lees stirring. The wine is then given a further four months maturation. Vibrant lemon/yellow hue, there is an attractive nose and we do see a flick of that oak influence. It is aromas of stone fruits which are to the fore here, peaches and apricots, as well as notes of mandarins and a touch of honeycomb. A supple texture, the wine is of medium length and there are hints of juicy acidity. For enjoying over the next four to five years.
