Barale Fratelli Barolo Castellero 2020

Perhaps the most complete wine in Barale’s 2020 line-up. Similarly to previous years, Castellero presents deeper and darker. It’s lifted, generous and pure. Dark cherry, rose petals, sous bois, and blood orange flesh ingrained with the subtlest meaty complexity. Substance is the byword behind its fresh and bright persona. Even and concentrated on the palate. Resolved tannins, tempered ripeness, and the aforementioned pithy blood orange acidity combine into a lasting finish. Detail upon detail that unravels with every swirl and sip. Just a beautiful Barolo of the highest order!
