Yet another fine example of just what the Langhorne Creek region can offer us. A vibrant opaque purple. The aroma moves through dry herbs, roast meats, dark chocolate, a lovely core of blackcurrants, with aniseed, bergamot and blackberries. There are fine tannins, but plenty of them plus impressive length. This will go eight to ten years, if one prefers to cellar rather than drink it now. No wrong answer – either works.
