Cape Landing Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

From Cabernet vines with a couple of decades under their belt, this is a fine Margaret River Cabernet, which has seen time in French oak. The colour is a vibrant magenta, while the nose offers up notes of cigar boxes, spices, black cherries, licorice, tobacco leaves and more, intertwined with a bright note of redcurrants. There are gentle hints of violets, coffee grinds and mulberries supported by fine length, firm tannins and good structure. This wine will provide pleasure for at least the next six to eight years.
