Château Tanunda Terroirs of the Barossa Eden Valley Shiraz 2020

Share

A wine to exhibit the glories of the Eden Valley, which spends time maturing in a mix of new and older French oak barrels (70%) and the remainder, American oak barrels for a year and a half. The colour is a deep maroon/magenta. Plenty of oak influence is evident on the nose at this stage, with vanilla and nutmeg notes, but all is well balanced. Plums, chocolate, mocha, cherries, spices and black fruits plus a hint of pepper. A plush style, quite sumptuous with medium length and a quiet fade and sleek tannins. Attractive drinking for the next six to eight years.
