The 2021 vintage was not one of the easiest to work with in the west, so congrats to the viti and the vini team at Credaro. Quality like this just doesn’t happen. Concentrated dark berries, rosemary, thyme, leaves, bay leaf, earth with some gravelly edges. There’s a full complement of flavours to be enjoyed here. The palate runs intense dark berry with herbal flavours across beautifully textured tannins. Oak is quietly placed in the background. It finishes a little sinewy on the finish, but satisfying nonetheless.

She was named Wine Communicator of the Year and Legend of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival in 2014 and in 2018 Legend of the Vine. She is a founding board member of Australian Women In Wine and is the co-deputy chair of Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards and China’s Wine List of the Year Awards.
