Opens with aromas that show a combination of dark cherry and strawberry with a subtle, earthy, mushroomy, truffle-like character. The palate has a firmish core to support the fleshy medium-weight fruit in a structure that nails the Pinot style. It displays excellent fruit concentration and great power with that subtle forest floor complexity adding to the finishing touches.
