Drop Zone GSM 2019

A fine Barossa GSM blend, with a distinctive label. The individual varieties are fermented discretely and then put into older barrels for maturing, before blending. Deep garnet here. Spices, red fruits most notably raspberries, some leather, bay leaves and cloves. This is quite a savoury style on the palate with just a hint of mushrooms supported by soft tannins and decent length. This is enjoyable drinking now and will continue to be for at least the next four years.
